MACO LAUNCH NEW HARDWARE FOR LARGE PANE TILT AND SLIDE GLAZING UNITS
A cost saving hardware solution with three options for up to 200kg sash weight.
Complementing the high performance Tilt and Turn hardware range of MACO UK is the MACO RAIL PATIO SYSTEM, a technologically advanced Tilt and Slide hardware solution for floor to ceiling, large pane glazing elements.
Available in three options; T&S-S (standard version), T&S-SE (with automatic tilting system) and T&S-Z (permitting an effortless single hand operation for sash weights up to 200kg). Both the T&S-S and T&S-SE are available with the MACO TRICOAT, high corrosion resistant finish.
All three versions provide a consistent benefit to both fabricators and end users. The hardware forms part of an interrelated system. Fabricators benefit from faster production, environmental and energy savings with T&S-S and T&S-SE units integrating into the MACO MULTI TREND fittings programme. The T&S-Z system uses concealed scissor stay arms that are an integral part of the gearing so that they do not require screw fixing into the rebate edge. The T&S-Z is also ideal for profile systems not using standard T&S scissor stays as in the T&S-S and T&S-SE versions due to heavy chamfers and contours on the inside face of the sash. End users can be sure that they have a consistently high performing, low maintenance system that is easy to operate even when sash weights may reach 200kg.
Newly designed guide tracks and roller units reduce the tilt angle and make the fitting of the sash to the frame a very simple operation. Once the sash is installed, the rollers lock to the track by simply sliding in an anti-jemmy device using gentle thumb pressure.
All three systems have been optimised for safe, simple and effective operation together with anti-burglar security technology. The T&S-Z has MACO i.S. (anti-jemmy) Cams as standard and optional lockable handles.
