They swing like doors inside and also tilt around the horizontal axis into the room providing the needed ventilation for you home. The single handle tilt and turn hardware is fitted with an additional security device in order to avoid unwanted injury by improper operation.
The tilt and turn system allows you to have three windows in one: depending on the handle position, they can be operated as fixed, inswing and tilt-in-from the top.
They are easy to reach from inside for cleaning and maintenance and also offer draft-free ventilation.
The advantage of the tilt-turn function is the enormous safety and security features. The multi-point locking mechanism around the entire frame makes the window extremely secure from unwanted entry even when it is in the ventilation tilt position.
